1. What We Collect

To provide the coaching platform, we collect the following information:

• Account information — your email address and the name you provide during signup.
• Coaching philosophy — the text and preferences you enter when setting up your AI coaching profile.
• Client profiles — names, goals, health history, and preferences that you enter for each client.
• Fitness and health data — biometric data such as recovery scores, heart rate, and sleep data where a connected device (e.g. WHOOP) is authorised by the client.
• AI conversation content — messages exchanged between coaches, clients, and the AI coaching assistant.
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, and session timestamps, collected to improve the product.

2. How We Use It

Your data is used exclusively to operate and improve Signal Coach:

• Personalised coaching — to generate plans, responses, and check-ins that reflect each client's profile and your coaching philosophy.
• Product improvement — to understand how coaches use Signal and improve the platform over time. Conversations may be reviewed in anonymised or aggregated form.
• Account management — to authenticate you, manage your subscription, and communicate about your account.
• Safety and compliance — to detect abuse, prevent fraud, and meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data or your clients' data to advertisers or third-party data brokers.

3. Third Parties

Signal Coach uses a small number of trusted third-party services to operate the platform:

• Supabase — provides authentication and database infrastructure. Your account credentials and all platform data are stored securely via Supabase. Supabase Privacy Policy →

• WHOOP — where a coach or client has connected their WHOOP account, health and biometric data is retrieved via the WHOOP API with explicit authorisation. WHOOP data is only accessed with your permission and is not stored beyond what is needed to display it in the platform. WHOOP Privacy Policy →

We do not share your personal data with any other third parties except as required by law.

4. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you at any time.
• Correction — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data we hold about you.
• Deletion — you can request that we delete your account and all associated data. Coach and client data will be permanently removed within 30 days of a verified deletion request.
• Data portability — you can request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.
• Objection — you can object to certain uses of your data, including any direct communications from us.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel only.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention).

7. Children

Signal Coach is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor's data has been submitted to the platform, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Signal Coach after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
