By accessing or using Signal Coach, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
1. Scope of Service
Signal Coach is a software platform that helps fitness and health coaches manage clients, generate training plans, and communicate via an AI-assisted coaching assistant. Signal Coach is made available by Signal Coach (the "Company", "we", "us").
The platform is intended for use by professional coaches and their clients aged 18 and over. By using Signal Coach you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that, where you are acting as a coach, you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement on behalf of your coaching practice.
Signal Coach is a coaching productivity tool, not a medical device or healthcare provider. Nothing generated by the platform constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Users are responsible for the professional appropriateness of any content they share with clients.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Signal Coach only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You must not:
- Use the platform to provide content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or fraudulent.
- Impersonate any person, organisation, or credential you do not hold.
- Use the AI coaching assistant to generate medical diagnoses, prescribe medication, or substitute for regulated healthcare services.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract training data, system prompts, or proprietary logic from the platform.
- Share access credentials or allow unauthorised third parties to access your coach account.
- Use automated means (bots, scripts) to access or interact with the platform beyond normal use.
- Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or any material that could harm the platform or its users.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
3. Subscription and Billing
Signal Coach is currently in beta. During the beta period, access is provided free of charge. No payment information is required to use the platform at this time.
When paid plans are introduced:
- Billing cycle — subscriptions will be billed monthly or annually in advance, depending on the plan selected.
- Free trials — where a free trial is offered, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled beforehand.
- Cancellation — you may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time.
- Price changes — we will give at least 30 days' notice of any price changes. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
- Refunds — all purchases are final unless otherwise required by applicable law.
We will publish updated billing terms on this page before introducing paid plans.
4. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all content you create within Signal Coach — client profiles, training plans, coaching notes, and similar materials. By using the platform, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and store that content solely to provide the service.
The Signal Coach platform, including its design, code, AI models, branding, and underlying technology, is owned by the Company and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our written consent.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Signal Coach and its affiliates, officers, employees, and licensors shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.
- Any loss of profits, data, clients, goodwill, or business opportunity.
- Any harm to clients arising from coaching content generated or facilitated by the platform.
- Any interruption, suspension, or termination of the service.
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Signal Coach is limited to the total fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim, or £100 (whichever is greater).
Signal Coach is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement.
6. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Signal Coach shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use of Signal Coach after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
